June 20-25: Peace, Global Justice and Democracy Movements Unite in Sacramento to Confront the Corporate Take-Over of Food, Communities and the Future
Protest the Sacramento Corporate Agriculture Ministerial!

This June the Bush administration, USAID, USDA, and the State Department are hosting government ministers from 180 nations and transnational corporate reps in a meeting to pave the way for ‘free trade,’ privatization of water, genetic engineering and factory farming. This ministerial is one of the key stepping stones for the Bush administration and their corporate backers to push through their agenda in the lead up to the next World Trade Organization meeting in Cancun in September. This is why millions of small farmers around the world have called for protests at the Sacramento ministerial to denounce the corporate take over of the global food supply.

JOIN US in the streets of Sacramento, California for a five-day festival of diverse resistance to biotech, bioimperialism, the Bush Administration's "Pax Americana" and ‘free trade’. We will be confronting the corporate agenda of ‘free trade’ and war on the earth with non-violent direct action, marches, rallies, teach-ins, an alternative expo, and more...

MASS NON-VIOLENT DIRECT ACTION TO STOP THE CORPORATE TAKE OVER OF THE FOOD SYSTEM! SUNDAY, June 22 , 2pm
Meet at SE corner of Capitol Park 15th and N St (near the Rose Garden)

Unite with people from all walks of life to take creative, non-violent actions to greet the Ministers and corporate representatives with the truth about biotech, pesticides, irradiation and the corporate takeover! We will use colorful, inviting civil disobedience to send a strong message that we oppose the Bush administration's back room deals to force corporate "free trade" and biotechnology on the world. Our actions will plant the seeds of earth-based democracy, grassroots resistance and hope!

Bring food, plants, puppets and symbols of water, earth, biodiversity, and peoples’ agricultural resistance!

Welcome Center Opens Friday, June 20th
Corner of 12th&C
Sacramento

The welcome center will be open with action details and information, resources, trainings, and more. Come on down and get plugged-in! We also need volunteers to staff the center. Help build transformative community! Email [email protected].
